Workshop date: March, 31st 2026
Worksheet: Google Collab
Slides: Google Drive
In this workshop, we will introduce some of the basic ideas behind mathematical modelling; what they can be used for, what limitations they have, etc.
After this, we will introduce Brownian motion and bacterial motility as a case study for modelling.
We will talk through the history of this topic, before using the worksheet (above) to analyse some data, and run a simple mathamatical model.
